PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL LAW

The lawyers of our company conduct court proceedings in a wide range of state tribunal courts and international commercial arbitration courts. First of all, these are cases in the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in Moscow, the International Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moscow as well as tribunals in Stockholm, Zurich, Paris etc.

That is why we have accumulated a great experience of conducting cases in tribunal courts. The awareness of the Vienna Convention, the main principles of international sale and purchase agreements, Incoterms, UN legislation, other international agreements and treaties has always served as a tool in a quite complex matter of international private law. Our lawyers have participated in the most complicated hearings of this area in many foreign languages. The ability to puzzle out the most complicated legal situations, to think in categories, globally, to use regulatory structure correctly, including regulations of national law, perfect knowledge of legal procedures etc. are the features, which continuously help us to conduct complicated cases in favour of both Russian and foreign clients.

The International Commercial Arbitration Court (tribunal court) was created by this NPO under the aegis of the Association of European Businesses (AEB) at the beginning of 2016. This Court is aimed at hearing disputes with participation of both members and non-members in form of these large and representative international economic organizations both in Russia and worldwide. Mr Robert Schulze was appointed as the President of this Court, and Mr Sergei Brutyan was included in the permanent list of its arbitrators.

Our lawyers have performed consultations and participated in many court hearings in the area of international private law. The large majority of these cases were won by them. The international private law remains one of the key areas within our company’s activities, and doubtless it will be always paid special attention.
